The USHIO USH-103D (part #5001329) is a 100-watt high-pressure mercury short-arc lamp developed as the long-life counterpart to the USH-102D and a direct equivalent to the Osram HBO 103W/2. With a rated average life of 300 hours — 50% longer than the standard 100W mercury lamp — the USH-103D is ideal for high-throughput fluorescence microscopy labs looking to reduce lamp change frequency. It is fully interchangeable with the USH-102D and HBO 100W/2 and is compatible with all major microscope brands including Nikon, Olympus, Leitz, and Zeiss. USHIO’s enhanced electrode design and tightly controlled ISO manufacturing processes ensure consistent arc stability and extended service life.
